Hangin'Pizzeria

Lunch time we were on holiday and driving around looking for an eating experience. You know a restaurant that looks inviting that makes you want to stop, go inside and eat good food.

The restaurants where we were staying were soul destroying.  All the buildings look grey dismal, not inviting at all. I mean they use fabric flowers in the hanging baskets. There is no grass about only grey concrete. We did not even stop to investigate.

So we made the decision to drive out to Betws-y-Coed, again To the pizza place.

We remembered the food was so good , the staff friendly and comfortable surroundings, we felt a second go was worth the trip.

Everything about the restaurant is clean and fresh. The big windows are thrown open and just shouts come inside. From the friendly staff to the décor that is so well put together. It is so inviting, you want to step in, take a big breath, relax for a while and pass the time watching people go by and putting the world to rights.

The ape mommies with the babies on there backs makes you smile.

Some of the seats are made out of tires strung with string. So the theme of Africa and of course their charity for the orang-utan and apes runs through.

Menu selections are written on the black board above the cooking station, it is  simple, but not when it comes to flavour.

We shared a pizza and a salad both times and the portions are so generous.
I happy to report that the quality is consistent. It was as good as the first time we went in.

If you are out that way do go and give it a try, I would love to hear your views.
